                Anchored in Berth N-51, HUMBOLDT BAY, NEW GUINEA, in 9 fathoms of water, mud bottom, with 45 fathoms of chain to the anchor, on the following bearings: UMBU, Boiler No. 3 in use for auxiliary purposes, standing by to get underway on 4 hours notice. Condition of  Readiness III and Material Condition Baker, modified, are set. Various units of the U.S. PACIFIC FLEET are present.  SOPA, REP CTF 76, in HENRY T. ALLEN.
